PQ16 how the -blam!- do you get vegeta to transform? I get to where he shows up, beat freiza and nothing happens

In order to make Vegeta transform, his health bar has to be blinking red before you defeat Frieza. Then you have to fight him.

There's a real low chance of it happening but after you beat frezias goons go to frezias ship recruit Krillin have frezia kill Krillin goku comes goes super saiyan beat frezia til he goes 100% vegeta comes beat frezia and then there's a low chance vegeta will turn on your and go super saiyan but I still haven't received super vegeta it only happened to me once.

How quickly do you beat the mission ? Usually beating it within 3 minutes triggers events.
