Somewhere between Jan 2015 and now the app has dropped my primary clan. When I look for it it says I am still joined and the clan tag is on my emblem for my characters. I have joined two but use the tag for the one I hangout the most with. The reason for the two is simple 360 and X1 versions of DadsofDestiny Charlie.
