Try getting to the end of a mentor you like. If you use their master Z soul (which are usually pretty good) they do extra damage. That should help a lot. I used vegetal ultimate and did it fairly fast, I'm Lvl 42..
You just gotta play conservative till one of them is down. Use trunks as a distraction

Well I switched my z soul to the one that makes picollos attacks stonger, put on light grenade instead of kamehaha, and put on instant transmission. I'm not great with using the instant transmission thing, but I pretty much just spammed them with light grenade as super saiyan 1 while trunks was alive, then flew backwards spamming jump and used light grenade any chance I got lol.
