85% think that Auto's need a buff, bungie hasn't acknowledged thousands of people. I'm doing what I can to keep up this thread.
THIS IS MORE PVE GEARED THAN ANYTHING ELSE BUFF NON GUARDIAN DAMAGE

A Great Video Explaining the Negative Effects brought on by 1.1.1:

Auto's will always be the most popular, people are familiar with them. That's how it goes.
It's not fair you ruin these weapons and make them unenjoyable just because they are popular.
Scouts will become next most popular then you'll nerf those. It's not right.
Edit: I believe pretty strongly in this, I love my Suros, Hardlight and Monte Carlo, sadly they don't live up to there names. Please bump if you agree, I want to have a shot at change (=

Over 10,000 votes requesting a buff. Lets go Bungie!
Major Edit: Appears some are too lazy to actually look at the thread showing the amount of nerf each weapon received, so I will post here, know that these are not my results but another supporter in the community.
Actual % of Nerf
Suros Regime: 14% (Impact Rating: 28)
HardLight: 6-9% dependent on first tree attachments (Impact Rating: 9)
Abyss Defiant: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
Monte Carlo: 6.3% (Impact Rating 8)
This is far off the "2.5%" released by Bungievision.
Edit: Greatly appreciating all the support, this is the only way to get Bungie's attention and get our Auto's back! I'd like to invite any Bungie admin/mod/ninja/Deej to pass this on to devs. Need you guys.
Edited title to sound more professional.

Edited by Cobalt: 3/24/2015 5:04:18 PMI never touch auto rifles anymore. And why aren't exotics good? Most legendaries are better than hardlight. It's not right. Got killed maybe 5% of the time by auto rifles in Iron Banner last time around. It just...Bungie does not make sense to me right now, and they sure don't seem competent either at this point. I wanna see how a group of 12 Bungie pros going at it would work in several control matches, one team equipped with all auto rifles of their choice, and other team with all Pulse Rifles of their choice. I'd really like to see the results of that. Because with the way Red Death just wrecked IB this last weekend...I don't see autos coming out on top often.

Bump. Autos are ok for Crucible but they are useless for strikes and raids. Do you guys remember that chart that DeeJ had on one of his updates that showed how many people use Autos, Pulse Rifles, ect.? I bet if they showed a recent chart of how many people use Autos and Pulse Rifles now, the results would be the total opposite. Pulse Rifles needed to be buffed, but now they are way too strong in Crucible. Last week during the Iron Banner, it seemed like everyone was using Red Death. I would get killed by someone using Red Death before I could kill them with my Machine Gun! Autos should be buffed for PvE and maybe a little for Crucible and Pulse Rifles need a small nerf for Crucible. That would fix the issue imo.

Make them better in PvE but not the #1 weapon in pvp

AR were fun but just learn to play with PR/HC, its fun and they hit hard. Just different styles. I just can't go without my WoC now. Pure beast. Used to be a scout guy, then AR, now HC. It is fun to switch weapons...
-
I chose the half buff option, never been a major fan of ar's but it's pretty clear the update over compensated for a few things. I will say that while working the prior months iron banner, the rare painted suros wrecked and I was lvl 29 so I can certainly understand some tweaking was necessary. @bungie, mess with the hand cannons again and I'll make so many hate blogs you won't be able to type destiny in Google without seeing the troll face.

Pulse rifles needed the buff, and I feel like auto rifles are still okay in pvp. However, the buff destroyed them in pve. I think part of the buff is auto rifles are so extremely diverse, that it's hard to just say "hey we are gonna nerf the best ones."
-
Buff auto rifles but give the suros a nerf at the exact same time. The issue is that the suros is way stronger than every other auto past the point where it is reasonable to say this is due to it being exotic. Auto rifles in general get nerfed hard to make up for the power of the suros when they need to be treated as two separate issues. In my opinion autos need to have very poor range but be capable of dealing the most damage per second of any primary up to about 50 feet or so. Until the balance shifts in this direction they will always be either too overpowered or underpowered because they are not fulfilling the proper role of an auto.
-
Didn't effect me at all. I still can maintain a 2.0 k/d after the update no problem at all.

Edited by GameSleepRepeat: 3/22/2015 6:04:53 PMPvE I still use them and are passable. In PvP however, it's almost a death wish to brandish an AR.

Is that the same 81% that complained about AR to begin with
