From what little I've seen, it seems fun.
But how is it really?
To me it looks like, for a lack of a better term, a MMO Dragonball game.
Also heard that other players are shown in the hub world, is this correct?

Its kinda like Dragonball Z Deviant Art the game. Which is amazing

It's not massive and there's an online option. More of a DragonBall RPG
