I am also very introverted, but due to my job (Chef) i have learnt how to small talk at a basic level. I nearly have a list of things to say, and then i have quick little jokes to fill the day. When i have a very quite day, people ask questions and it makes it worse. Switching off to music also help pass the time, i am just counting down the hours till i am back in my own space, where i feel safe. And i can then pick who i talk to, but the Internet give us a protection from people. Which makes is feel safe and in control
