That game wasn't even hyped. It seemed like word of mouth from gamers made everyone else want to play that game.

There was very little hype, and therefore it was very easy to live up to. That was a very good strategy by the creators, they made a game that sold itself and the players did the advertising for them.

I agree and not only that but it worked and was fun to play with friends. It also probably helped that the game was released around a new season if the walking dead. I found the reviews if this game to be kinda mixed considering how fun it is.
