Yes. Its sad that such an interactive hobby isn't considered a hobby at all.

Absolutely! This is what pisses me off! If i lay there watching a whole season of Mythbusters, (a show she hates), that is acceptable. However if i try to play a game more than a few hours at a time, all hell breaks loose! I fail to see how there is a difference in how down time is used. But its like she has a different meter for different activities. 10 hrs watching tv is the same as 10 hrs playing a game in my book!

compare it to going to the strip club...would you rather me be spending money at the strip club with naked woman or at home with you playing a game?or as an accepted hobby...some people go fishing I play video games...

I have used the exact same argument, she says " I am happy that you stay here instead of going out, but I wish you would spend that time with me." I probably only play 4 or 5 hours a week, the rest of the time is split between her, school and work. Whenever I hop on to play with the fellas, shit hits the fan and I gotta deal with a grouchy woman for the rest of the night.

lol...they have to...they have pros and get paid to fish...so tell her your in training for the major leagues and you will appreciate, as she will, all the sacrifice you both had to do both personally and professionally to see this dream come true. Might buy you a lil time but doubt it. I have a awesome wife that as long is happy we all happy. Have 4 kids 18 all the way down to 4. And I have 4 ps and 4 tvs so the kids all have their own systems and rooms. Sorry she doesnt have a sister and she is spoken for....lol
