Seriously think it has the same drop rate as an exotic in the chest.. I've done VoG 50 times. And gotten 3 pretorian foils, and also 3 exotics from that chest! [spoiler]I actually got the foil on my second hardmode run... Luckiest i've ever been i think.. Haha[/spoiler]
