To the Player who starts Destiny every day.
Hi reader,
last week somebody told me that the DLC is gonna get released in May. At first I didn't believed him, but after some Internet resarch it is more than likely to be true.
So... we got the Crota Raid at the beginning at December. Next NEW Content is in May. If I count December as a whole month and May too, that is six months with no new content. Doing the same missions again, doing the same Raids again. And Crota is half as good as Atheon, and takes half the time. That's a fact.
You maybe are also kinda similar position as me: You might wanna get some weapons you don't have (I miss Gjallarhorn, Monte Carlo, Hawkmoon and the fu**** Black Hammer).
I am not a bad player. I guess above the average? I did the flawless Raid if that counts and I didn't managed to complete the Crota Raid in the first week, but I in the next week and 3 times in every week until now. If I counted correctly this makes 13 weeks, thats something about ~39 times Crota has fallen. And I didn’t got the Black Hammer. So his is really not a good Loot System I think.
If you got this far with reading this (I honestly don’t think I get any reply) and you are in a similar situation here is my question:
Why do you go on play Destiny?
Because I might wanna stop. And I am not sure if I am gonna play the DLC anymore. Because I don’t want to get in the same situation again - like now.

6 RepliesI just wrote about this this morning somehow on the frustration on the RNG system at least on Croats Raid https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/106280469/0/0/1 I'm very frustrated on the fact that after 30 completions of Crotas raid where at least 70% have been on Normal mode I get the same reward over and over again. Regardless of an RNG system, this is almost factually impossible. I've done everything from logging in and out, staying in the same session and using three different characters over different days and the result tends to be always the same, the Song of Ir Yut plus some shards. Sometimes I basically get nothing or a helmet but how could it be that I don't get any other weapon? (it's not like there are no options, Rocket, Shotgun, Sniper, Fusion Rifle) I know this will probably will go unanswered by Bungie but I'd love to hear your point of view on this. So to recap, if you consider that I have 1/6 chances to get loot (1 from 6 guardians) and once I can get loot I can have a chance to get an exotic weapon, shaders, spaceship, sparrow, armor, and weapons: 1. Armor - Helmet 2. Shader - Criptographic 3. Shader - Glowhoo 4. Sparrow - Graverobber 5. Ship - Light in the Abyss 6. Weapon - Rocket - Hunger of Crota 7. Weapon - Fusion Rifle - Light Of the Abyss 8. Weapon - Machine Gun - Song of Ir Yut 9. Weapon - Shotgun - Swordbreaker 10. Weapon - Sniper - Black Hammer 11. Exotic item Note: I'm not counting shards or energies since everyone seems to get this by default. So lets make this easy. Every week I have 1 in 11 chances (considering the exotic items are just taken as items in the equation and not an exceptional drop) that means that I have 9% chances to equally getting any of these items. So if we consider 30 Raid runs, where 20 have been done in normal and at least the item has dropped for me 50%-60% of the times. Is it logical that I only get the same item over and over again. The answer is that although is not impossible it also proves there's something extremely wrong with the RNG loot tables or that there are predefined loot tables that a player can be stuck on.
