For me, it all comes down to finding the weapon set you're most comfortable with and not changing it. Even if you get frustrated with blink sliding shotguns, or shoulder charging fusion rifles, don't change your weapon set. Respawning quick is key, and know when to back out of a losing firefight when someone gets the drop on you. When you're calm, before you know it that match is almost over and you're winning by 1000.
