Mace windu vs darth sidious.. Anikan isn't there. Both in their prime, who wins?

Mace had that fight won already. If not for Anakin's interference he would've killed Sidious.

Yeah for about two seconds...I would've lasted longer than they did. Once they fell Mace handle business.

Sidious was holding back to allow anikan to attack mace windu.. I don't think it would be an easy fight for mace or even for sidious

I don't believe that but to each their own. I feel Sidious was fighting for his life and was beat outright. His knowledge of the dark side or even the force in general far exceeded that of Mace but Mace was the better swordsman and if Anakin hadn't taken a cheap shot he would've had his hands full with Mace as well. Sidious needed Anakin in that moment and only received his help because Anakin felt he needed him to keep Padme from dying.

Sidious wasn't that much better in the force than mace windu was.. Mace windu as well used the dark side of the force, but knew how to control his ability. Windu also had the ability to see exact moments in the future, and use those visions for his benefit in battles. It isn't fair for you to make sidious a far better user in the force than windu, cause if you remember, windu was the grand master of the Jedi order dying the clone wars.

I just feel that overall Sidious had knowledge of things Mace didn't or did but never admitted to knowing. Either way I'm not trying to slight either character. I love star wars but Mace had Sidious beat. He was the better swordsman. His swordsmanship was considered legendary among the Jedi. Like I said the only practitioner the use Vaapad and not fall to the dark side. It's commendable.
