I'm extremely disappointed in the game.
Starting with the tiny things, why is it that you finish a parallel mission you must start back at the top some stairs, instead of the parallel mission menu?
-How come it's so damn difficult to play offline?
-Local p1 vs p2 doesn't seem to be an option.
-If I want to play by myself online, why must I see everyone's time patroller?
Gameplay
-The AI's use of infinite super's, ultimates, ki, and stamina are broken. Flat out.
-Why are enemy AI's so aggressive and effective in stringing combinations together, when friendly AI stands around and doesn't attack the enemy?
-attack hit boxes are terrible
-Super armor enemies (you hit them and they don't stun) is fine, but throwing two of them together when their damage is half-health worthy (beerus and whis) (demigra second to last fight) it's broken and just artificial difficulty.
-why are friendly AI's so weak?
--blam!-ing parallel missions. Why in the hell are their parallel missions where you cannot have bots come with you? "super Saiyan bargain sale" is a good example. And if that's the case, you don't even unlock the mission by attempting it. Meaning you MUST beat it solo, or manually search for an online lobby to finish it instead of using (shitty) friendly AI, or making your own lobby.
-Ki blast builds are over powered. Flat out.
-why can you get out of a stunlock if their hitting you, but not Ki blasts or super's?
-the time crystals. Why the hell are those a random drop rate , when they're used to complete the rest of the story mode?
-the game majorly favors Saiyan characters.
-blam!- this game man.

Also, when it comes to the difficulty of the game then well it sounds like you are used to easier games where you are just handed shit and don't have to do much to beat the game. It's a difficult game at times which makes it even more challenging and fun in my opinion. It's also called leveling up man. If you can't beat something solo then go level some more and try it again. It's a challenging game but for the most part fun. Sorry that it's not your cup of tea. Go play some of your easier games and leave this one to the big guys.

No, I generally look for harder games. There's a concept in game development that's meant to be avoided called "Artificial difficulty" And XENOVERSE wreaks of it. The game isn't hard, it's easy. It's just AI is terribly designed, and parallel missions are nothing but artificially difficult. I'm assuming you haven't did "Supet Saiyan Bargan Sale". I was literally at unlocked to death by 5 ultras from Goku and Gohan firing them in sync. And then, continuing the story involves having to deal with a random loot system.

Ya that's one of my complaints to about fighting goku and gohan together. First time I tried bargain sale I was sailing through it and got to them and they destroyed me with literally 6 chained back to back ultra kamehamehas. Was so pissed I quit for the night. Just beat it though and figured out that spamming blue hurricane on those damned team battle AI shits works very well. I did not know about the artificial whats a have it but thanks for the info. It also seems like you got over the little things since you have 2 max lvl guys lol but yes I do agree. There are a lot of little things this game can fix to get better but until then it's a great game to grind on until my dark souls 2 Sotfs comes in the mail.

It's that the game is great up until the end of it. It's just they TRIED to make it difficult.

Oops wrong person. But. Yeah it's terrible. There's no point in having enemy AI be effective and aggressive while friendly AI is only useful as a meat shield

You can do local battles with 2 controllers. Talk to the guy on the left of World Tournament Registration. It's in the same section of Tokitoki city as the portal to the Time Nest / Time Vault. Source: Have done it many times :)
