You do realize people get Strange Coins as rewards for a Nightfall, right? I spent well over an hour fighting Omnigul, and got 11 strange coins for my effort. I then spent just as long, if not longer, beating the crap out Valus McDickFace, only to get 9 of them. So yes, I spent my Strange Coins on some Exotics from Xur. It took no effort at all to get them. No sir, not at all. I just waltzed up and grabbed them.
