I can't f*cking take this anymore! I have to study alot of time? What the f*ck!?
Now wait a minute, here, if you want to pass, you need to get 60% atleast, and the teaching system is hard as f*ck!
So I was getting 95%-100% in junior high, now I study 5 times more and get 80%-90%, yeah I know 80%-90% is good, but when I hit 11th grade my grades will go down and admit it, no one wants to finish school like an idiot with low grades.
For f*ck's sake it pisses me off, I can't do anything with my life except for studying.
Do you mind sharing how did you pass high school, and how frustrating your life was? Or give me some advice to make me feel better?

I don't know, unfortunately due to issues in my home life I was forced to drop out :[ now all my courses cost $500 each which I can't afford so I'll probably never get my diploma. Plus, I was just never school smart, probably due to the fact that I don't retain information very well no matter how hard I try.

By not being a piece of shit

Never mind all the guys with their "never studied in my life" as this thread obviously isn't for them. What it really sounds like is you're having difficulty assimilating the material. You may be studying so hard because it's hard for you to understand. Try talking to the teachers more or even looking into getting a tutor or going to study "clubs". It obviously sounds like you're interested in your education and probably on going past high school. It doesn't get any easier after so you better find out what works and what doesn't fast.

Do past papers or questions like that when you study. Just reading your work won't help in the long run
-
Passed with a 3.4? Did not study once or do homework unless I absolutely needed to ah what I'd do to slap myself 4 years ago
-
I get 70's-80's because I don't do the homework. If I did I would have straight A's.
-
Bjs for teachers

What year are you?

Never studied once. I just took notes and paid attention to everything in class. When you take notes take as many as possible, recite the board to your notebook. And as you write it read it in your head. On top of all the notes that you have you now have all the answers to your homework located in your notebook. For math you will have to do something different but similar. Math: When given a formula write it down and put EQ next to it for (equation). When the teacher puts examples on the board write them down and put EX next to it for (example). paper should look like this Eq: X=n-1 Ex: X=6-1 X=5 Ex: X=7-1 X=6 --------------------------------- This sections off your math notes where you can quickly find what you need when you need to use it along with examples to go along with it. I suggest labeling the equations and formulas as well. Good luck
if you try hard in school, life after school hours is easy and you will pass.
I've never studied in my life. Still get all As. I imagine College is going to be cruel wake-up call though.

I was so -blam!-ing high all the time, to be honest I don't really remember. I know I did, Same with college. But I spent the time from 14-25 completely wasted and high ALL the time. I regret it now, I don't remember the best and most fun part of my life.

Practice bullshitting as an art. Seriously, mastering how well you bs helps tremendously.
-
I took classes to pass high school.
-
Welcome to the real world bud. I know it sucks but in the long run all of that studying will be good for you. Not everyone can coast through school without studying, or get by on minimal effort.
-
Do all the work no matter what, and do as much extra credit as possible. I'm not out if high school yet, but I have all A's, so I think I'm doing something right.

Edited by Stalwart: 3/9/2015 4:06:07 AMIt's easy if you focus on what's important. Tbh I never spent much time studying because I only had to learn the material well once or twice and it stuck with me. Just remember, high school is easy compared to college. And if you want to be successful, you need to learn how to stop whining, figure out a system that works for you, and buckle up. Because life is 60% work, 20% play, and 20% rest.

How? Having fun and bullshitting in class. Cheating during tests.
How The Fuck Did You Pass High School?
...I didn't give up....
-
I haven't yet.
-
I don't even know. College hits hard though.
-
My in my school failing is 75% and every class is a "pre-AP" level course. It is honestly very easy to get above a 95 for me, but again a near photographic memory helps.
-
High School is literally the easiest thing ever.
-
Wait until college then
-
Well of course you have to study. In life everything isn't going to be easy. And high school is to easy, everybody passes, and if you are struggling to succeeded them you need to get extra help to ensure you succeed. Or you are failing because you don't try and expect everything to be handed to you. Goto class and pay attention is another way to pass.

Really anything below a 70 is failing where I am
