With a record Billions of dollars being spent on mobile games in the last year why do you think the mobile market is exploding the way it is. Personally I believe it is the accessibility. Every grown woman or man and most children have a smartphone. Many believe this is the future of gaming. I agree. The question is, if there is so much money in this market, why are the games so horrible? The controls are dodgy at best and no one seems to be making a concerted effort to make a quality group of title for IOS or android.

You are playing the wrong games if you think they suck. Ticket to Ride is one of my favorite games across all platforms.

Everyone has a phone. Very cheap or free games. Pick up and play experience. No one is getting a $60 triple A title on their phone. They are buying the $1-5 cheap shallow experience, which will waste 20 mins on a bus, or on your lunch break, or something.

Everyone has a phone so it makes a good market for it. I don't play mobile games.
