I saw a thread about this on GAF so I figured I'd share it here. It looks like buttons actually come out of the touch screen and are dynamic based on what you're using, pretty cool tech. I think this would solve a lot of the issues people had when they migrated to touchscreen; they miss dem tactile feels. Based on the video, it looks like they'd implement this into gaming, too.

In 3 to 4 years, this will probably become a standard.

It's neat, hopefully it'll be durable. What happens if the screen gets a slight crack? I don't really mind normal touchscreens we have now, but they certainly aren't going to be around forever.

That's really cool, I miss buttons. If I have the money when this comes out I'd gladly buy one.
