Hate Against Kids (Rant)
Hello I am a [u]13 year old[/u] gamer and I play [b]Destiny[/b]. When I join someone or go on [b]raids [/b]I am Called "[i]Squeaker[/i]".
I am apparently someone to laugh at and abuse for being [u]2 years[/u] younger then another person. About 1 in 15 people are nice and don't care. When I need help with a Raid I invite people and ask people for help, then I am abused because I am [u]13 [/u]and have a voice that is kind of high.
I play with[u] 6-9 year old's[/u] if they need help... most other people just bully them and ruin the experience of Communication on this awesome [b]MMO[/b]. I love [b]Destiny [/b]it is fascinating and enjoyable... but about [b]70%[/b] of the community are bullies towards "Little Kids". If you don't want to play with someone because they have a voice that you absolutely can't stand, don't be a Bully just say "Sorry I really don't want to do this... I want to do other things" as appose to hurting feelings and being a dick.
You were a kid once whats wrong with it?
If they are screaming in the microphone and being really Annoying then give them a chance tell them your gonna kick them if they keep going, then if they keep going don't retaliate just be chill and say "Hey you had your warning... sorry your being kicked".
The thread is about people being bullies after they say a few words in a high voice. Also if they try to be funny don't laugh and say that wasn't really that funny try something else. About 4 years ago I got Xbox with COD and I did these things to so I can understand why people gave them this reputation. I feel it should be changed a little bit. Fighting fire with fire never works out it's just a waste of time.
If this is changed I would think [b]Destiny [/b]would be more inviting and people under [u]14 [/u] would enjoy it a lot more!
Also shut up about ratings. Look at the movies people sneak in all the time your not gonna stop anything.
In Australia you are allowed to play it so you can't say crap about kids from Aussie. Think of something without involving ratings or do you need to rely on them?

I'm sorry, did you really post this ? Or your parents because you were getting "bullied" on here? And what parents lets their 6-9 old kids play this game? Go play outdoors! Too young to be playing just games! Be active.

It's nothing personal, i'm 34 yrs old. What small talk/banter could i have with a 10yr old? I mean, my daughter is 14 so i assume i could carry a small talk with someone around that age/maturity. I don't know who is on my friends list pretty much so i was invited by a random to a raid. It was a bunch of young kids that wouldn't stop yelling at each other! I am a raid noob so this was not helping me one bit. They weren't organized but the worst part was that there was no hope of getting them rangled because they simply wouldn't be quiet for a moment. I did try for a few minutes. then i said guys, i'm gonna leave. End of story. He tried invite-spamming me until i unfriended him. My experience with gaming is limited(online) so this is all new territory. My brief encounter with these "squeakers", as you call them, was unpleasant and i'd be inclined to never join a group like that again! But if i was on with a kid in the group who listened or gave clear commands then i wouldn't care what pitch his/her voice is. Good luck bud, and trust me, growing up isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sometimes adults dont wanna play video games with children, if i wanted a child on my fireteam id surely invite my son over any other child in destiny.

Played with a younger guy on Crota HM and he rocked the sword like a boss. I joined with him randomly on lfg and people had been quitting on him all day, made no sense.

If you are ten or younger I won't game with you because you shouldn't be playing dedtiny and I just can't stand talking to people that aren't as smart(no offense, but when I talk about something and a kid keeps saying "what?" It's annoying).

13 year olds are fine if your not an annoying chatterbox... I can't game with anyone 10 and under. It's painful.

MMO stands for massive multiplayer online. The largest group thing we are able to do is a 6 man. WoW in camparison Raids of at least 25(was 40) Actual factions that can raid each others cities. PvP where 25 people a side can play. Open trading system True open world? Kids that think this is an MMO is the exact reason why i hate kids who play. You have no idea the amount of time people have put into actual MMOs... My wow account has 450 days played time. In which I haven't played for nearly 3 years. .......... .......... Kids think this game takes skill. Everything in this game is just a bullet sponge. Press RT reload repeat. Kids think they are entitled to everything and call for something to be nerfed for no reason other then because they can't understand the mechanics. Kids report you because you use foul language even though they shouldn't be playing the game in the first place. I don't hate kids as i have 2 of them myself. I don't want to play with them because when i turn on my Xbox its because i want to get away from them. I mean wtf are we going to talk about? How you're growing your first pube? How i just -blam!-ed my girlfriend? We are completely on different levels in life we share nothing in common in terms of what we are thus allowed to talk about without catching a criminal charge.

2 RepliesIm 14 with a deep ass voice and when i join a team of adults with talking about jobs and their wives and i was just quite in the crota raid being the swordbearer. I asked how old are they and all of them tell me 20+ and im all like "im only 14" all of them were in shocked and surprised. They said that they thought all teens are the same with disrespectfulness and all. I felt proud. Ps3: Qs_Krull professional sword handler i'll help anyone. I have nothing left on destiny but pvp and helping others which is the majority of my time

I've gotten kicked for "lying about my age". Someone asked and I said 13. But he said stop lying. Because my voice is way deeper than it should be. I've been mistaken for being 17+ at least 30 times. But I usually don't talk unless needed.
