So. To everyone in the dojo, why do you think your the biggest badass around? Do you feel special when you god mode?
English
-
I don't god mode unless I encounter bullshit
-
Sure.
-
What?
-
Im saying sure you dont. Not in a i-dont-beleave-you way.
-
Oh ok

Edited by Chinkronomicon: 3/9/2015 5:14:27 AMI don't like god moding. I think it takes away from the fun of fighting, and it just becomes a battle of "that didn't happen because." Sure, there are overdrives and times of power, but I think it's important to remember your own weaknesses and limits when you fight... And by no means am I a "badass" around here, I'm just the guy who makes weapons somewhat better and throws around some fire. Yes, I do admit that I have somewhat god moded a few times before this. That was before I realized that it wasn't fun to god mode, and it was more fun to admit defeat after a well fought battle rather than keep on denying it and striving only for victory. No longer do I plan on getting close to god moding, ever.
-
Yes but others are different.
-
Yeah, I've seen. :( But the worst thing about god moding is that it usually goads the other person into doing it and it just keeps on getting worse from there. Sure, I know it's hard to determine a battle that is occurring through text, but still... You gotta find a balance somewhere.
-
Balance is impossible to find in most peoples mind. There are but few people who dont like god moding.
-
It's fun to have the kind of Dragon Ball moments when you're like "oh crap, need more power" and you get stronger and they get stronger to accommodate that, but putting yourself in a Titanomachy, that just takes away from fun.
Titanomachy: A struggle of gods, a battle if you will.
-
Its different if your just getting a burst of power than when you just destroy them and cant be touched.
-
Exactly. That's why I stopped fighting for a little, and there have been some people I've fought who understand balance.
-
Yeah. I still fight but ive lost against more than ebough people. I am not very balanced myself though. I dont godmode but i do have 8 dragons that are fully grown.
-
It is fun to run side things here, I enjoy modifying an helping others with my creativity :) Also, pets are fun. Aren't you the guy who has bluefyre, or something like that?
-
Yeah i do own Blue Fyre. And she somehow has a litter of dragons everyweek, im now making a dragon army though.
-
An asexual dragon? Interesting... Unless she just has an unknown mate. You might want to build a nursery, or an aerie if you're going to have a dragon army. I'm glad to help if you need anything.
-
If you could suplly watching over the baby dragons when im out with the adult ones i could pay you greatly......
-
Sure, as long as I'm not out fighting, I would be glad. Contact me any time and if I respond, I'll take care of them. Hopefully they get along with Von Keter, my mechanical dragon.
-
1 of them are a cyborg and another a undead dragon. Just warning you aldo they eat lennies. And what type of pay would you like?
-
The Night Mother's banging body, I'd like to get in that coffin mhmm.. Naw but really, I shall request for various materials for my tinkering. If a dragon drops a spare scale, I would like to have it for... Purposes. And perfect, I have a meat locker full of dead Lennies hanging by the feet. I knew it would come in handy!
-
Deal. And goodnight.
-
Last time I checked your name was on the ally's list so
-
I have never god moded in a battle. I am a ally and i will continue to do as i do. But this question lingers in my mind everytime i see a fight here
-
I have not fought, and I will not god mode ever when I fight. I will accept defeat if it accepts me, and gives me a chance at redemption later on down the path I walk.
-
I look forward to fighting you then, friend, as we share the same ideals.
