Everyone hates on Obama but let's face it...He's sooo much better than bush and Clinton.
-
> Obama > better than Clinton pick one
-
I voted for them both.
-
Obama is beyond superior, the only reason people think otherwise is because the GOP keeps blocking about everything.
-
Bush is an idiot, Obama is an even bigger idiot, and I could run the country better than either if I was lobotomized and then tossed into the White House.
-
Neither. They were both bad.
-
Bush was miles better than Obama. Obama is as bad, probably worse than Carter was.
-
I'll say Bush is better.
-
Both were bad, but Bush. Obama is ruining this country
-
They're both pretty bad. They're both politicians, so they both lie(d) to the general public. One started the global War on Terror initiative, one is doing a terribad job of handling the said war. So...yeah.
-
Our government is fundamentally flawed. You can't become president of the United States of America unless you tell the people what they want to hear. If you tell them the truth, they won't vote you into office. 1+1=2. You basically have to lie your way through the ranks. Clinton did it, Bush did it, and Obama has done it as well. Now it's my personal opinion that Obama has done it on a much greater degree than Clinton or Bush, but almost every president the past 30 years has lied at some point.

God dammit, I can post "k" anymore.

All Presidents will suck, and continue to suck, until one of them decides to meaningfully - and I mean meaningfully - address the driving factors of our debt - defense spending, social security, and medicare. I'm well aware of how cheap it is for the government to borrow currently, but I'm also well aware of how unsustainable that is. The bond market in its entirety is about to get pooped on sometime in the next two years. I wouldn't buy a treasury, corporate, or municipal bond right now unless I delight in losing money for myself when yields rise.

Edited by Vgnut: 1/14/2013 7:30:54 AMGeorge W. Bush is regarded as one of, if not the #1, worst presidents of all time. His time in office was so abysmal even ardent Republicans acknowledge he was a bad president. It is telling that there is hardly contention over his record. It's like Republicans to be taken seriously have to say "Well I didn't support Bush." So while President Obama's record is still being written I think it's safe to say his tenure will be judged as far greater than his predecessor.

Ask this question again in 20 years - that's the typical fermentation time for a presidency to see how they turned out. For instance, we're just now starting to see how brilliant Clinton was while in office - and, in retrospect, history will view Bush in a kinder light than we do (that's not to say he'll be considered "good", by any stretch).
-
Obama is average at best IMO. Shame both Bush and Clinton were probably even worst. (Oh and Death I'll get back to your PM a bit later today if that's cool).
-
Obama is a far better president than most people think IMO.
-
Thank you for that amazingly eloquent and well-though-out political comment. I appreciate it.
-
Both have been awful. #CivilLiberties
-
Clinton is pretty much objectively the greatest president since FDR. Anyone who has seen numbers during his presidency knows that. Obama is exactly like Bush minus the being controlled by neocons bit.
-
Clinton was an amazing president. Bush and Obama are total shit. ------------> Don't Tread on Me

But Bush was just so damn funny.

Edited by Cannonsurfer: 1/14/2013 5:28:42 AMWhat? Clinton was awesome, what are you smoking? It's not the same stuff Clinton was "smoking" is it?
-
Don't you hate knowing that a guy so widely seen as an idiot like Bush is actually smarter than the average person could ever hope to be?
-
I don't think Obama or Clinton played football, you can't compare a politician and Reggie Bush and say one is better. Their jobs are just to different to compare quality.

#politicsandboobs? Where's Sarah Palin?
