It's okay dude. I'm 21, and when I started playing online games and using a mic a lot of people treated me the same way. Most people who were born in the early 90s like me went through it. We were the first generation of kids to play online games. Now that we are older we like to treat the little kids how we were treated. It's sort of like a rite of passage. I never really complained about it as a kid, because well I knew my place. But I couldn't wait TIL I was older so I could have the sense of entitlement that comes with being older.
