Here is the thing. I'm 35 years old. Wouldn't it be awkward for me to be out playing with a random 13 year old that wasn't my son or daughter? With so many people online now, xbox live needs to be treated more like a type of dating site. I would like to see age brackets of gamers that are around my age and share similar gaming interests. I don't know how other gamers feel, but myself, I don't want to play with kids. I am an adult with a family. Playing with people my own age allows me to unwind and talk about life's frustrations with someone who understands and can relate to those frustrations. It's tough to explain.

Really don't see how someone's age would matter. As long as they aren't annoying and they're doing a good job then why is it a big deal?

Completely agree it's wierd and frustrating. Expecially since I curs like a sailer when playing video games. My friends don't care if a drop a F bomb or say something obceen about Crotas mother but if I was a group with a kid and his mom heard me I most likely would get reported.... (this happened on 360 few years back playing Borderlands) I would love age brackets!

It's funny that the parents report you for bad language when they let their young kid play games where it's quite possible that older people will use the bad language. Classic piss poor parenting. They always blame someone else.

This. It's not tough to explain, you just did it superbly. It's hard enough finding folks in their high 20's who are mature. I have nothing to say to a 12 year old.

You've a valid point there that I never thought about. I play online with my nephews (10 & 13) and do appreciate when I've been in a raid etc with albeit random but my own strangers

Edited by Barbatos: 3/9/2015 6:59:20 PMI can see where you're coming from. I'm 29 years old and I don't mind playing with kids (or teens for that matter) but it can get awkward. I just can't relate to them. Then there's the problem when they get upset and you have to deal with their parents.
