I love how everyone thought I was serious

Your scientific illiteracy is baffling me. Dinosaurs are not mammals. In what universe is a Dinosaur (from deino, Greek for terrible; and sauros, Greek for LIZARD) a mammal?
-
No one knows what dinosaurs are, we just assumed they were reptiles hence dinoSAUR
-
They just happen to have a skeletal structure derived from the same ancestor as all reptiles.
-
Well sharks are lizards so yeah...
-
And some mammals went back into the ocean(whales, dolphins etc.) Their vestigial structures support this.
-
Mammals are not dinosaurs....

Edited by LordofArbiters: 3/9/2015 8:12:56 PMNo it goes like this: Fish evolved into amphibians Those evolved into reptile like animals Than it split to the Dino's common ancestor and to the mammals (Tetrapods) Theropods (T-rex, raptor, etc...) evolved feathers and evolved into birds. Tetrapods evolved into mammals Now I could give you an even longer answer but I'm too lazy to type a 10 page report

I support this reply, the science is sound, but who am I to say?
-
I wasn't trying to get scientific but there's the correct answer kiddies.
-
Yep, I got a good 2 years worth of studying prehistoric life lol

Pretty much, over millions of years
