What causes tension between Hunters and Warlocks??
I've seen the 'floofing about' and 'we taught them to blink' statements on Warlock gear but is there more stuff in the Grimoire? Also, even without the grimoire, I see alot of back and forth between Warlocks and Hunters on a daily basis. Are Warlocks just jealous nerds, are Hunters just stuck up cool kids?
Edit 1: It's funny how the Titans just sit back with popcorn watching all this go down.
Edit 2: I'm seeing claims of sexual tension, very interesting stuff!

Edit 10 - It has been speculated that the 'squishy' floofy Warlocks are just pretending to be friends with the Titans just so they can use them as muscle against the Hunters.....the plot thickens

Honestly i had my main charecter as a warlock until i lost a bet and a hunter as my second they change your playstyle completely hunters are more of a jump and run thing while as warlocks are stay put shoot hide behind rock repeat thing I am not saying this is bas for warlocks i love them they saved my ass so many times tbh hunters are fun but warlocks get it done

21 RepliesWarlocks see the Hunters as arrogant and unlearned. Warlocks don't hate Hunters so much as they pity/envy them. A Hunter's mind hasn't been infested with the dark secrets that fill a Warlock's mind. The Hunter doesn't understand the Warlock and tries to equal them through sheer skill, rather than raw energy. But ultimately, the Warlock knows that skill alone won't be enough. Hunters see Warlocks as strange and erratic, overly secretive and certainly not as powerful as they think. They enjoy the challenges Warlocks present, working to match each rip in reality that a Warlock makes with a rending of flesh using blades, instead. The Warlock may scoff and say it can't be done by anything but another Warlock, but the Hunter doesn't care; it's just another chance to prove a Warlock wrong. Hunters love when they prove Warlocks wrong. Titans see Warlocks and Hunters as GOOD FRIEND I PUT IN BUBBLE AND SMASH AWAY BAD THINGS FROM. But in all seriousness, Titans are like the military branch. They don't care for petty rivalries, so long as we all stand together in the end, we can take back what we lost.

1 ReplyI think the rivalry is caused by respect. Warlocks and Hunters differ but are also very similar and even complement each other. Warlocks are concerned with understanding the world around them. Hunters seem more concerned with exploring the world around them. How could you understand something without exploring it? How could you explore something without understanding it? In a way, their rivalry will always cause them to try to "One-up" the other while making sure to encourage the other to get better. I find it very amusing that both classes do the same motion whenever they use their Solar Supers.

Hunters Don hooded capes and call them cloaks... Not to mention that they are such pansies if they didn't develop the ability to become invisible they'd be next to useless because they are soft as marshmallows. And they claim we floof. Hah.

3 RepliesLikely its twofold 1st. The higher level a warlock gets the bigger their ass gets while the hunters stay sleek and racey. (Likely from floofing about) 2nd. The hunters get to carry a matching hand bag while the warlocks have have nothing to match their dress.

I have one of each and I love all my characters :) they all have their uses, I main a hunter because their play style matches me really well but I prefer my warlocks abilities

Titans will at least ask why a warlock's research is relevant to defeating the enemy, but hunters just don't give a -blam!-. Warlocks in response think hunters are idiots when really their intelligence is invested in other matters

There is no tension. At least not for me. Some douchebag made it sound like hunters hate Warlocks and that's no the case. If it wasn't for warlocks most of my night falls woul have been repeated. Thanks for titans too because when I'm about to get hit with a tank bullet the Titan is there to help me. Now you can't forget that Hunters have helped also no matter how bad you don't want to admit. If it wasn't for invisibility, well you know.
