What causes tension between Hunters and Warlocks??
I've seen the 'floofing about' and 'we taught them to blink' statements on Warlock gear but is there more stuff in the Grimoire? Also, even without the grimoire, I see alot of back and forth between Warlocks and Hunters on a daily basis. Are Warlocks just jealous nerds, are Hunters just stuck up cool kids?
Edit 1: It's funny how the Titans just sit back with popcorn watching all this go down.
Edit 2: I'm seeing claims of sexual tension, very interesting stuff!

Edit 9 - MalPen is the only Warlock allowed to eat popcorn with the Titans...he brought beer.
Edit 10 - It has been speculated that the 'squishy' floofy Warlocks are just pretending to be friends with the Titans just so they can use them as muscle against the Hunters.....the plot thickens

Simply put, I think it's also the proximity of what both our callings are. The Hunters seek out things long lost on the edge of space, which we Warlocks have a profound interest in. Thus our causes overlap, but are so very different that we can't see eye-to-eye.

My main is a warlock my best bud runs a hunter. We be cool... Nightfall he dies I can res and self res if I die getting him. I die without my super he goes invis. Running strikes I juju obsid mind for orbs he gold guns for orbs. We feed each other orbs and supers go flying all over.

If anything it's because hunters have very strong supers in PVP, which makes other players think we rely on our supers and we have no skill. Hunters also aren't as good as warlocks in PVE, which means that a lot of warlocks don't like them in PVE because hunters might cause a wipe. That's about it.

(As a Hunter) I believe there is tension because it is unspoken that we are better than them but some refuse this and lash out. We Hunters don't want to fight, just accept out superiority

That's for the noobs to argue over. Real players have 1 of each with all their exotics. Noob players only have 1 or multiples of the same character. There's no argument to have when have the people bashing a class, have never ran it themselves.

I'm sorry, I must be ignorant of this Warlock/Hunter tension. I have all 3 classes, and races. My main and preferred is my 'lock. Very close second is my hunter. They are all viable classes. One of my buddies mains a hunter, and I love it when he is around (incase I die stupidly, he can invis and res me), and with his gunslinger helm, gives me the orbs to use my special even quicker. Btw, I have Obsidian Mind, and Bad Juju. So between us both, we have orbs just lying (laying, meh) around.

casual and hard core comparison. ppl tends to think warlocks doesnt require much skill to play compared to hunters. And they are both classes that have acces to blink.

3 RepliesTitans take a little bit of skill the only reason the seem so cool is because there perks and the reason I say little skill is because unlike the hunter class titans don't have to do anything to activate a skill just punch one enemy and everything else you punch gives you orbs for hunters it's about being a precision shooter and actually takes skill to be a hunter

Hunter's hate warlocks because of self rez. Seriously your super saves your ass after you die? It's like golfing with someone who sucks and insists that they are better than you after taking mulligans. Jk - I really like my 'lock, it's just the glide that's odd.

Had a warlock raided in both raids, deleted it made another hunter. Warlocks aren't fun in my opinion and I got sloppy always using resurrection. Not challenging and the jump sucks.

Just started a warlock. I have been a Hunter since release. Hunters are great. Warlocks are just better. With a good team warlocks can really bring out team potential with all the orbs they can produce.
