What causes tension between Hunters and Warlocks??
I've seen the 'floofing about' and 'we taught them to blink' statements on Warlock gear but is there more stuff in the Grimoire? Also, even without the grimoire, I see alot of back and forth between Warlocks and Hunters on a daily basis. Are Warlocks just jealous nerds, are Hunters just stuck up cool kids?
Edit 1: It's funny how the Titans just sit back with popcorn watching all this go down.
Edit 2: I'm seeing claims of sexual tension, very interesting stuff!

I'd say now with PoE, Titans and Hunters make better teams. The only time Warlocks are truly useful is when they die and self resurrect. Hunters invis to dismantle mines, Titans bubble to dismantle mines, warlocks die, res, then die again.

3 RepliesI'm a Titan and have no rivalry with either Hunters or Warlocks. An ally is an ally, and the skill of a fellow Guardian is what counts, not their class. However, I notice quite a few Warlocks have a tendency to avoid combat until they have their Super ready. The Hunters have low armor but they're daring enough to fight, so why is it that Warlocks rely on their abilities and ignore their weapons? Enough of that "I'm contemplating the nature of the universe in relation to the Light and Darkness." Enough of this mystical space magic stuff. Maybe that's why the Pujari/Wei Ratio phrase started? "The amount of time Warlocks spend planning battles versus the amount of time Titans spend winning them."

1 ReplyEdited by DallekHunter11: 5/24/2015 7:24:00 AMTo me it all depends on what type of guardian you are I use the hunters agility to res teammates and draw enemy fire and supers are mainly for mob clearing Warlocks can heal faster than the other classes and get back into a fight faster and deal more damage to bosses and the self res is always good for nightfalls and raids and nova bombs are like long range FoH Titans are the support class taking more damage and keeping that damage off of their more flimsy teammates and clearing mobs with FoH and protect teammates with their bubbles This is all for pve btw not for crucible

3 RepliesI like hunters because I used them in the beta, thought "hmm, this is fûcking awesome" never had a chance to make a titan or warlock. But now I have made all 3. I still like the hunter. Titans are friends. I'm not saying every warlock is like this but I'm just saying that they seem arrogant, like "oh you need me I can self Rez and make orbs.".... oh really? Because hunters can do it to. And titans. We all play a roll, we all are needed. Some more then others in situations like: splinter mines, reviving people, or clearing a room with showstopper or razors edge, or combustion and over penetration.

2 RepliesUpon closer observation, I don't see it as tension so much as the sort of rivalry that builds up from working in close proximity over long periods of time. Hunters are the explorers, out there searching the dark places for lost relics and ruins. Warlocks are the scholars, delving into those same relics and ruins to discover their meaning, their significance...and possibly getting so lost in their work that they don't notice the angry wildlife behind them. Thus the Hunters acting as the eyes and ears for them. However, when they get to the door locked by some archaic, lost technology, then the Warlocks are there to provide the insight and knowledge to get the doors open, or to disarm the traps that wait beyond. The two need each other, but at the same time, that need is often because of shortcomings from either side. As such, they tend to smart-talk each other, but they'll always have each others backs in the end.

Hilarious debate! But in the end every class has their role. I play with two good friends regularly. I'm titan, they play a warlock and a hunter. We work the best when we have one of each on the fire team. Each strength to complement the weakness of the other.

2 RepliesWell in Trials my team of 3 warlocks beat 2 full teams of hunters. One group of them sent a message after the match that said "3 warlocks seriously?" There was much irony in this. Hunters are dumb.

Also hunters need to learn how to jump for the love of god. But yes titans for the qin, beware the shoulder charge, it kills in and out of pvp.
