What causes tension between Hunters and Warlocks??

I've seen the 'floofing about' and 'we taught them to blink' statements on Warlock gear but is there more stuff in the Grimoire? Also, even without the grimoire, I see alot of back and forth between Warlocks and Hunters on a daily basis. Are Warlocks just jealous nerds, are Hunters just stuck up cool kids? Edit 1: It's funny how the Titans just sit back with popcorn watching all this go down. Edit 2: I'm seeing claims of sexual tension, very interesting stuff! Edit 3 - You gotta admit, 'Floof' is a very funny word Edit 4 - ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Edit 5 - Uhm, is this thread going out of control? Edit 6 - So, claims of Hunters hopping around like bunnies are pretty funny. Edit 7 - So many replies!! Thanks. Edit 8 - So Warlocks floof and Hunters bunny hop.... Edit 9 - MalPen is the only Warlock allowed to eat popcorn with the Titans...he brought beer. Edit 10 - It has been speculated that the 'squishy' floofy Warlocks are just pretending to be friends with the Titans just so they can use them as muscle against the Hunters.....the plot thickens

  • A Titans Opinion: They're both squishy, but from what I've seen Warlocks aren't as egotistical as Hunters, so I'd rather team up with a Warlock.

  • I started with a warlock then made a hunter I don't get why us locks hate hunters. I love my hunter and my warlock I like the differences in play styles and the way they both play out. Why can't we al be friends?

  • I main hunter and this is my perspective Hunters are stuck up assholes and really the main reason you chose hunter first is cause of the glamorous cape (if you think like me that is) Warlocks think hunters are cheap in pvp. My reason for getting one initially was to push Atheon off the cliff. Titans stand back and talk their occasional shit but for the most part stay out of our spats.

      • I've always thought of the hunters as the concrete randoms of destiny and the warlocks the abstract sequential/concrete sequential. Most of the time they don't mix well. If you're wondering what the Titans are they are just big buff men with rocks for their heads... Or really just the abstract randoms ;)

      • Guys, there are the titan, hunter, and warlock. That is three classes. A triangle has three sides, angles, and verticies. Neither hunter or warlock is better. Illuminati is. 🔺🔺🔺😐

      • hopefully this answers your question well for me i think it is all on your point of view of who is easier to play. i want a challenge so i play with hunter (again my point of view did not mean to degrade any warlocks) but some people think that hunter is easier so like me they want a challenge and so now you have two people who think the other person is a wimp and doesn't like a challenge. and that is why i think there is so much tension between warlocks and hunters

Titans are better then both of them, that's why there are tensions

now there is a speculation on how the warlocks taught hunters how to blink and all that and then the hunters never taught the warlock to become invisible, but wait a minute instead the gave them a gun that hunter knew how to use very well,A sniper.the reason they gave them the sniper was because they needed to learn how the gun did it,they needed PATIENCE AND TIME so they can learn the ways of the sniper BUT we all know warlocks never have patience when it comes to learning new things so thats the reason hunters never taught them how to become invisible EDIT1---they tried to teach them but the warlocks never understood how they tried to teach them
I made this story up so dont think im being suros
EDIT2--I am a hunter at heart but i have a maxed warlock right under neath it

Because both classes like to believe they are the best at everything, while Titans are the real MVP for being the best support class and accepting that role. Needless to say, my main is a hunter and one of my closest friends is a warlock..we do get into arguments at times, which then becomes competition.

          • I've got three play styles on my Hunter... 1) long distance gunslinger (scout/sniper) - safest... Never going to die here. Will switch to blade dancer if medic is needed. What we do when things get serious. 2) mid-range gunslinger (pistol) need to keep those precision perks up! Attack attack attack gotta be quick or it's useless... But relatively safe and fun 3) close-range blade dancer (pistol/shotgun) I'm sorry. But it's fun as hell. blink shotgun stab to invis shotgun melee blink out and repeat. Yeah I'll die a lot... But it's fun and I won't go alone :-) In saying that... Here's the difference: warlocks want to be tactical and win and survive and will always be serious... Hunters just want fun, but will get serious when needed.

            • Warlocks are inherently mightier than Hunters. Hunters couldn't survive the Vault of Glass and Warlocks wear a piece of their capes as a reminder to always be fiercer in combat less we go the way Hunter: defeated...

            • I play all my characters as if I'm a warlock. With skill I started with a warlock then started a hunter then a titan. What I can say is that playing a warlock helps you learn before you act. I don't know how many times I've had to revive hunters in nightfalls. Titans usually tend to stay back too. But honestly hunters just charge in (most do) but I don't ill go invisible just to be safe. Like a warlock will wait for self res to be safe. For defender titans I'll wait for bubble. Basically you can say I'm a pussy.

              • The Warlocks are mad that a Hunter went invisible and stole their peanut butter. The only thing that the Warlocks were left with was a big case of jelly.
