In the video I talk about all of these tips and maybe some of them will hit with you........whoaaaaa I never thought of that. Here are my tips in short. They are in order. 1.) Get your strongest set up with quick TTK (Time To Kill) guns. An assualt rifle is not the best weapon to rock because the TTK is so low compared to The Last Word or the Thorn. I use a Shotgun a lot because the TTK on a shotgun is better than everything except a Sniper head shot which is not nearly as easy to use. 2.) Play alone. If you play with team mates they will take some of your potential kills. Plus I have found that when I search for games by myself I find a lot easier people to play against, this may have something to do with Bungie's match making system. 3.) Get some music to listen to while you are ripping. Music helps to maintain flow and not stress over mistakes. 4.) Don't worry about dying. Yea dying will slow you down but you are only going to do worse if you think about your deaths and stress over them. 5.) Position yourself against team mates. Often the enemy will be opposite of where your team is so if you can position yourself against your team mates there is a good chance that you will be in an area to get a few kills. 6.) Go Hunting mode. Be ruthless and very aggressive, know when to prey upon your meal and know when to pounce for the catch. 7.) Pop your super as fast as you can. In big kill games you should not be holding your super, use it and then it will start to re-charge, this way you can maximize your super potential. 8.) Catch your flow and string your kills. Engage the enemy in a way that you can continue the engagement. The more often you get an engagement that you can move off to the next victim the better. 9.) Play confident. Don't second guess yourself and maintain your flow. If I can get a game with 60 kills so can you, it may take time and practice but we all have limitless potential and this means that what ever it is that I can achieve so can you. Stay confident in knowing that and don't get down on yourself for bad plays or bad games. 10.) Set smaller goals en route to larger ones. If your best kills in a game is 28, set a goal for 30 then 35 and so on. When you achieve your smaller goals it will open your eyes to the bigger ones and make them more realistic, it may take you a week or a month to break your current personal best but you can break it. 11.) Watch high kill games and learn from some of the best. I have many videos out on Destiny and some tips videos as well, you may be able to see something in them that flips the switch.....Ohhhh I should try that. Go to twitch and watch WTFisPoshy, TomCatChi, and AEGabriel, these are all very good players that play PvP competitively and we can all learn from them. It is important to know that we can all learn from one another, even though I have tips videos out and good stats does not mean I can not learn from others. I constantly adjust my style and mentality when it comes to Destiny to try and be the best player I can be, I learn from randoms that I play against all the way to learning in Sweaty matches with some of the best. Constantly evaluating yourself is key to becoming the best player that you can be.

  • Good tips for the most part. Watching people who are good at crucible is always a good solution. You'll find pretty quickly that rushing the map with shotties and blink/slide combos is 80% of the battle lol. Playing a conservative game of hanging back and outshooting people I was always pretty solid. I'd go about 1.5-2x k/d pretty consistently. I watched WTFisPoshy play and had seen another top 100 player in rumble who I played with consistently for a while use that same strategy and found it impossible to counter. I started using it myself this week and combining it with my general ability to outshoot people at range netted me MANY more kills and a better k/d ratio. I'd say once I was warmed up, even with one of the better kids on my list playing with me and taking some of my kills, i was netting 35 kills per game +-5 very consistently. K/D was always over 2 on those games, often 2.5-3+. Anyways all points but 2 and 3 are gold. I don't like playing with all randoms as sometimes their mistakes can make for a TERRIBLE game. No matter how good you are, if your team is sucking and forcing you into teh worst spawns in control, it's going to be an uphill batle. Sometimes 1 or 2 guys who know what they are doing are enough to really tip the scales in your favor without really taking away from your kills. Music might help some people, but I like having audio queues on what is going on.
