  • The only difference is time. They involve the same concepts. Change in a species over time. Micro evolution is little change over a small amount of time. Macro evolution is the same thing just over millions of years. All of those little changes accumulate to a vastly different organism.

    If they are the same, then why do biologists use two terms to describe it? Because the distinction is important for explaining things.

That is why they are using two different words to describe it Lol. And it explains that the same process occurs, just over longer amounts of time.
