Halo 5 seems to be innovating Halo, which is the best it can possibly do. People complain about Sprint and Smart Scope turning Halo into COD, but it would be worse if they didn't try to add new things, then it would actually be COD if it was still Halo 3 mechanics. Smart Scope is just a fancy zoom, still de scoping you. Sprint really should be called running by definition but you don't regen shields while sprinting. Thruster packs are better than exo jumping around and shoulder charge and ground pound are new things that I like. The only things that I see that are COD like are killcams and climbing up ledges. Other than that it is Halo, just newer and faster.
