*Returns awhile later.* Here. I didn't find the [i]'king'[/i] but I found out some things from these. *Hands books, notes, letters, etc.) It seems as if the king of this particular castle is the exiled relative of the king we [i]'serve'.[/i] He murdered his cousin, the heir to the throne, to become closer to throne. Our king uncovered his plot, and stopped him from eliminating any others. Our king was then appointed the rightful king, granted full reign over the land. The king we now seek out garnered a large following, and built his own army. The war has been raging for years, and has been going back and forth for both sides. This is the first time our allies have come close to him, so we should consider that. He'll be prepared. Have you any updates, as well?

Very interesting... Oh yes. Um the guards is dead, but before I killed him he told me that there was a secret button right here *pushes brick in wall and trap door opens beside me* you think this "king" is down here? He also told me that the king has 6 royal guards that are very powerful and will kill on sight. That's all I got before he succumbed his injuries

Yeah. How many troops we got left? And this stairway is only big enough for two men to go abreast so if they bottle neck us at the bottom then we are finished.

*returns about ten minutes later with a body over my shoulder* they left one at the door and I took him out. I don't know how much time we have before the other 5 guards notice. So we could either charge down there and possibly be destroyed or bait them up here and risk the king escaping. It's up to you.

I prefer a Bait and Switch-esque plan. You and the guards distract the guards, I'll get the king. There is the possibility of escape... But, it's a risk we'll have to take. If need be, just create an opening so I can fire an arrow in the bastards throat.

Formations, men! Shields up! Flex your sword arms! Make sure they pay me no mind! *Readies arrow at door, awaits for targets* *They arrive at top of stairs, I begin peppering them with arrows.* This isn't working! Their armor is too strong! Quiggles! Do you see a vulnerability it in their armor design? You must've stumbled upon dozens of these sets!

Half an inch? It'll be tough, but if I take careful aim and line up the shot, I should be able to hit their chest. If I fail, I'll shoot at their ankles. *Lines up shot for 1 target* *Aims...* *Fires, strikes him directly in the middle of the opening.* *Begins lining up another shot, but is disrupted by another guard.* Dammit! Quiggles, distract him!

Not without hitting one of ours! Quiggles, you'll have to take him!

Of course it isn't. Men, clear a space! *Soldiers clear off nearby table* Lay him there. You, *referring to random soldier* You must know first aid. Tend to this fellows wound. If you don't have the first clue what you're doing, get someone else to. If he's not downstairs in 10 minutes, there will be consequences. I'll go downstairs to see what's holding the scouts up. *Heads downstairs*
