Would a truly loving god do that to what he created? Why would he let this continue? Just so he could get a point across? Isn't helping people part of Christianity, so why doesn't he help us Settle our differences instead of just turning his back on us?

He doesn't turn his back on us, he turns his back on sin .... And we have pushed him and tried to run our lives so much that he is patiently waiting for us to turn back to him, he allows these things to happen ( like he has throughout the bible ) so that man ( his creation ) to stop relying on himself to save himself because he can't! We turn to sin naturally .... We are greedy and prideful as human beings as man so we try and do things our way which is the wrong way. If you read in the bible God is hurt by all this, he is sad .... But he is a just God .... Everything happens for a reason ..... He can use the death of a person to save 10-15 people. His plan of salvation is there if we just chose to accept it. He doesn't want to force us to love and follow him, it's our free will choice and he allows us to make that decision.

How do you know he wants this stuff? Have you talked to him about this? But some people didnt turn their backs on him. They believe in him so much, that they go to war with other nations to prove their religion is better. How did god handle this? Was he flattered? Does he like all the negative attention it got him?

Edited by Tempest26: 3/11/2015 4:13:57 PMIt's in the bible .... Exactly what God wants is in there .... But, as man we can't obtain perfection and that is why Jesus died for us ... To be the mediator between us and God. And man will go to war for his own purposes .... Going to war to prove your religion is better is a stupid reason. God doesn't need us to do anything for him. He uses man to glorify himself through us.
