If anything, Xurning is more like earning than getting drops. I bought my Ghorn from Xur. I deserved it because I didnt judge exotic rocket launchers at the launch of the game like everyone else did.
Dont get me wrong, I believe you earn what is dropped, I just think Xurning is more realistic earning.
