Just got A REALLY GOOD Hand Cannon- From a RARE Engram!
So I was in the tower a couple of minutes ago to turn in some night bounties. I go to Cryptarch because I had picked up a rare primary engram. I decide to quickly decode it and dismantle for the parts. To my surprise, RNG gives me a VENATION III with the following perks
- Outlaw
- Perfect Balance, Single Point Sling, Field Scout
- Crowd Control
I feel like really lucky right now! Thanks RNG for cutting me a break. What perk do you guys recommend? Anyone else get anything get something really good from a rare engram lately?
EDIT: Got rid of "THE BEST" because everybody going on about Hawkmoon. Wish I had one ;(

I got a lord high fixer from a blue with rangefinder third eye field scout single point sling and explosive rounds ( this was pre dlc)

I had one with a similar roll, but Hawkmoon, Thorn, Last Word, Fate Bringer, and Word of Crota made it unrealistic to keep or use.

One of them has explosive and penetrating rounds (options not simultaneous selection). This is so far my favorite Hand Cannon. I'd like to see a complete comparison of these Rare, Legendary and Exotics. It seems folks tend to ignore how many good Rare weapons are available and tend to look them down too... And worse; look down Guardians carrying them too. I am trying to reach Lvl 32 (need that Crota gear). I really like/use several Rare weapons despite having Legendary and Exotics. Keep the fight in the game. Peace everywhere else.

Venation was the only decent hand cannon I was able to get. I love it. Mine has different perks but an awesome gun nevertheless.

I have word of crota, hawkmoon, thorn, fatebringer and the last word. Hawkmoon best exotic, but word of crota and fatebringer beat all

Fatebringer still outways it,best perks with arc damage and oracle bonus damage

4 RepliesI got anotherNITC with Firefly, outlaw and field scout. I bought this game near the end of Noverember and got it from Bungies package. I dismantled it because I didnt think it was super good after I got my VoC. I -blam!-ing hate myself for that.

10 RepliesI've got "The Chance" handcannon in a rare engram and the perks are ok, but luckily it has field scout so the mag would go from a 6 to a 10 or something.
