This event was horribly coordinated and was a complete disappointment. Something that is hosted by bungie should not be this disappointing. So why was it and what am I asking?
1) The incentive to try and participate in this event: There is no information concerning this event. No one was told anything other then if you play you mite get an emblem that is cool. In reality the only way to get this emblem was to win against a premade team of people who play the game quite well together. To add on to the disappoint train, the only type of players they could face off against were randoms. Do those randoms have a chance? No they do not. Out of all the teams that have fought against them, none have won by my record. Getting to play against them period is harder than dropping a hawkmoon and yet you get nothing for doing so?
2) WRECKnation? Free advertising?: I feel as if this was a horribly attempt to provide subscriptions for a pretty average stream. The stream was moderated by people who would respond with threats for simple questions. Eventually if asked anything relevant or about them they would insult people. After trying to talk for 5 minutes they banned me for asking if they were providing anything if I subscribed. Not only that but they banned people for stating opinions. One viewer says something insulting about (R)apin(G) another viewer and he does not get banned. Another asks for moderation and they ban him. Is this really who you want representing your game? Where is the justice? (Editing that word in because it is relevant, no one should joke about -blam!- the way they did.)
Before this I would have suggested to people to buy Destiny, now I do not think that will ever happen. A lot of people seem to feel like this. Out of everything you could do to alienate casual players, you have made them feel disappointed and cut off from your game.
Upvote for justice. Any Devs out there want to reply?
Will any devs approve of WRECKnation moderators insulting Destiny players, bullying them, and treating them like crap if they do not subscribe?
Edit: If you were wondering about the stream itself, here is a taste of their chat. (For those who do not now, the green swords = moderators)

Quite sad when you have to organize your clan to downvote and comment something. Fact stands that what Bungie did was wrong. So lets bring into question how you ask bungie anything. You make a forum topic. You cannot email them, or send anything to them because they have no help desk. So where do you ask the important questions? You post them on a forum. If someone threatens a life, if someone hurts another player or worse bullies them into a state of depression, where do you take it? You take it to the forum where everyone can see it. Now looking at the event and what they did wrong in question. Can anyone speak up about it? Is the only response I am going to get from salty WRECKnation members who bring nothing to the subject at hand? No one is going to look at the fact that if we took the name WRECKnation out of the mix all together and just labeled it as some clan group that you would be just as mad? No, because you are a bais party commenting on a question based thread. Can we take out their name? No because it is a question of reputation. Is it wrong that WRECKnation was rude on their stream and with how they conducted everything regarding their name. No, it was not wrong. Should bungie associated with them for a community event if they were going to act like this? No, they should not have. The only community event in months that anyone can participate in and they host it in the equivalent of a tavern. Can you not see why that is wrong? You do not get mad at the tavern, you get mad at whoever hosted the event. Yes I get it got your little stream some hits, but that is even worse. That is just advertisement. I have seen rundown World of Warcraft clones host more events than Bungie. Does anyone here forget that this is a MMO? What did we get for an event? The chance of playing one Destiny famous(Not saying much)group of players. How was this one? Joining the already horrible matchmaking queue and hoping you would be the one matched up against them. You probably had a better chance at dropping a hawkmoon. The chance to get a emblem? No the odds were stacked up against you that it made it close to impossible to get this emblem. Pure disappointment for all who lost. Were we giving any information on the event? No we had to search for it ourselves. No one had a clue. So why promote this kind of thing? Just so we have more disappointment in the future? Yea you guys are really promoting Destiny. Good job kids.
