I was lucky enough to be a backstage presenter at the BAFTA Game Awards tonight in London where Destiny won Best Game.
To have as prestigious an organisation as BAFTA honour and recognise a game I love, that I've sunk months of my life into and that has given me some of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever experienced, as well as allowing me to meet so many brilliant people online through the game itself, was such a total, inexplicable joy.
I got to interview Harold Ryan, Destiny's Developer, immediately after he was handed his precious gold award and as well as telling him how grateful I was, and we are, as a community, I also asked, once and for all, about that 6th VoG chest.. to which he replied 'Keep looking!'
I'll post a link to the interview tomorrow but I just wanted to say well done Destiny and and well done all of us for making the game and the community, what it is.
Much love.
