Look, man. I just fell a good 2 stories from riding a dragon. I don't think I lost consicousness, but it would seem I've missed something VERY serious. *props self up against bar* I got a message from a friend telling me to get to... Basically what you'd call the HQ for the marauders. He had found a cache of sorts, and he wanted me to help him find it. I ask around to see if I can leave the empire's walls without pissing you off more than I have for one day, but martial law beat me to it. I look for an inn, I'm swept off my feet by a dragon, land in the center of THAT street *points to a wall*, and now I'm here. So exude me if I'm a little out of it, but I think I deserve an explanation. And some aspirin...

Back when I first made contact with your empire I was introduced to a shady figure, I forget his name. He tried to wheedle me into an alliance with him, and I said not until I know who's fighting for what. One second... *Whispers into your ear* Since I got here, I've been the subject of a lot of hate, mainly for accusations with no factual proof. I apologize that this happened, and I'd be glad to help clean this mess up, but I am not involved with the Lennys!
