Red death being sold makes you mad?
Why are you mad that red death is being sold? Now people can be useful on crota hard.
Edit: I'm happy to see none of the people posting so far are salty. Everyone seems to either not care, or truly appreciate Xur selling it.
Edit2: seems like everyone is pretty content with him selling it! I see lots seeing it good because it benefits raid teams!

Honestly it's not even an arguable thing. You don't earn it through anything but Xur. That's it. It's over.
If you grind ROC or Crucible for it, then it's grind. Not earn.
If you get the strange coins necessary for purchase, it's earned.
Ex: if you're walking down the street and you find a 20$ Bill, you didn't earn it. You found it.
If you see a video game you want, and you work on something in order to obtain the money needed to buy it, then it's earned.

It's because it was dominating PVP. The pattern is always the same- the weapons/armor that give the best advantage in PVP are the ones you see people "rage posting" about on the forums when Xur sells it and the old owners lose the edge in PVP that the thought they had. Ghorn included in that statement.

Seriously who cares if xur sell this weapon? I've had all exotics in destiny for over a month now and glad that xur selling a good weapon for once as it will be easier now when helping people on crota raid with the whole health regeneration thing

nope, not at all. I have seen this "issue" day one. red death was one the first Xur sales of. No biggie to me. I have RD in the vault, there it sits. No biggie

I love it, I've had the 300 max RedDeath and finally I get the 2.0 But it people, and if your a Titan get that skullfort too. No more excuses on regen ing health, the best pulse rifle in the game is yours.

I mean I wish xur didn't make exotics common place every weekend, and their is definitely a better system for him that'd fix that, but really that's just life.

Doesn't matter. I got mine back when the first chest of Crota gave exotics and you could solo it so I can't say I earned it anymore than they did.

4 RepliesI'm happy people have a crack at it, though disappointed it means I can't pick up a new exotic this weekend. That being said, skull fort has infusion which heals from orbs. Raid helms have a chance to offer infusion. Light Beyond Nemesis has infusion. Finally both times I have downed Crota hard on my Warlock I have not had infusion or red death equipped. Unless you are the sword bearer the health regen is not a problem.

I'm mad that one of my most prized and rare guns is going to be owned by all, however; It just means I get to kick people from my raid if they die on the crota part. Seriously... there's no excuse for you to die if you have that gun. Even if you're rocking a ghorn, just switch to it, kill a thrall, switch back.
