I earned my Red Death "scrubs"
Yeah, no hand outs here. I actually earned my Red Death.
I earned it because I had to grind the weekly multiple times every week, and bore myself to tears in an attempt to get coins. I also had to grind out the hours of the days, weeks, and months anxiously awaiting Xur to have red death again.
So if you think that's less of a grind than getting lucky on the roll of a rng die, congrats, you are what's wrong with this game.

xur is part of this game he was put there for a reason so it doesn't matter where you got it from. dont worry when he pops up this week a whole lot of people will be complaining all over again about some other gun/armor and i hope it's ghally just to see the hate on the forums and get a good chuckle

1 ReplyI don't have it but none of these exotics are freaking earned! t(-_______-)t The closest to an exotic being earned are the exotic bounties because you have to grind to get the actual bounty & then to complete the steps! (Vex also) So did I earn my 1st & 2nd thunderlords because I beat the stupid nightfall ? No exotic is "earned" so shut up & quit saying it is when you get it by a computed chance. Here Ya go.

I think I earned my red death. But it's my opinion. It cost how many strange coins? (I don't know I havnt bought a weapon from xur in a while) 17 I think. So that's two weeklies. Now I got mine as a Crota drop, fell out his pocket when we put him to Sleep. Now it took us about two hours, maybe a little more. I had to endure a very annoying know-it-all that made you more angry with every word. Wiped a couple of times throughout the raid. And lost a couple of heavy ammo synthesizes. Then I had to watch everyone buy it from xur. If you ask me, I deserved mine a little more than you deserved yours. Not against you having it, I'm glad you have it, it's pretty good. But I'm just saying earned it a little more than you did.

I received mine from Crota on the Easy raid on the Thursday evening at 10pm or so approximately 10hrs before Xür trolled me! #SodsLaw Ho-Hum! Seems if I didn't have Bad Luck I wouldn't have any at all!! It's Gaming so I really don't take it too seriously!

1 ReplyI'm confused. My kid wanted that gun since day one but it never dropped and became our 2nd to last exotic to obtain. Xur sold it to spite a data miner so we bought one. That afternoon it dropped twice for us. If I use one and level one that dropped rather than the one purchased am I a scrub / newb/ idiot/ terrorist/ love machine ?

Yeah i earned my thunderlord of deathsingers last night i died getting the witch out of the room and one person ended up finishing it and it dropped for me :) Its a joke guys! You dont earn anything in this game.
