Use exotic shard to upgrade or buy upgrade from xur?
I can upgrade my helm by buying an exotic shard. However I can also use a shard to buy the next version of the helm from xur. Which is the best way to use the shard? The new helm from xur just had some extra strength.

2 Repliesif its same as the new helm ie 36 light then just use the shatd on your existing one because you will still need a shard to max the one xur sells, the upgrade resets all xp on the helm so you have to start again
