I got an Exotic from the Rewards Screen After Crota Hard
Hopefully the picture will work but After Crota Hard I watched the Stream at the Bottom left hoping for a Helmet of Black Hammer. I got the Word of Crota and some Energies. I still went and looked through my inventory to double check. I even Recycled the Word as it was my fourth one. I had nothing else new. I decided to fold laundry while I waited for the Reward screen because Why not. I have had people tell me they would get a drop but I never saw anything. Even when I was Rewarded Exotics at the end of the Fight I never saw anything pop up at the rewards screen. Yesterday though Dragon's Breath popped up.

Exotics don't get put into your inventory until you go back to orbit. This has been covered a hundred times.

It was a reward from Crota and not from the rewards screen.

Nothing new. You would get it just the same if you go to orbit. Not every reward pops up as text, nor does it show up on the right, nor does it immediately show up in your inventory. It'll often appear once you go to orbit, or wait for the reward screen. Doing either won't change the outcome.
