no custom games would not fit into the game at this time. Horde mode is more reasonable.

Why not?

I guess they would work so you could set up a clan match or 1v1 or 3v3 but when I think custom games I think of Halo and how at this point Destiny is no where close to delivering something as good as Halo custom games
