Although this thread is old, I think it should be pinned because it can be very useful to the forums. See, the point of a satire is to criticise something or to bring out the flaws of something by means of intelligent humor, puns, sarcasm, or irony, etc. Not to be confused by trolling. Then we got these kind of people, like Sand Man over here. I´m gonna go ahead and guess that the name is a reference to the contents of his skull, because I swear to God, by the degree of his stupidity I´m guessing his parents were already family before marrying. He slaps on the tag "satire" not because he´s using intelligent humor (clearly), not because he´s using either irony or sarcasm (the first one is also a tag here, and equally asbsent), but because he wants to try to be a douche and getting away with it just because he (mis)uses a certain tag. I´ve read brilliant satires on these forums, but the use of the tag is starting to make me cringe when I see it, because chances are that what I´m gonna read is an example of "HURR DURR ME WANTZ TO BEE FUNNEH, YOUZ ALL DUMB". So yeah, Sand Man, good work you did over a month ago. You display what "going full retard" can be on this site. GJ!
