Or great arrogance. Sadly.

Bungie should make the level cap in-obtainable, therefor, there would be nobody that thinks they're "all that"

If only it were that simple. The bullshit would just move down a level. Some people JUST don't play well with others. Case in point. I ran the Nightfall with my warlock last week the FIRST time by joining a guy on my friend's list who was soloing it. He left his FT open, so I assumed he was open to having some help. So I come it at the point where he's at the start of the fight to open that door by the Ketch where all the Vex spawn. So---again---I'm showing up pretty early in the strike. Well, between when I show up....and halfway through the boss battle when when I FINALLY die (trying to revive him)...and we wipe. The son of a b*tch dies FIVE times. So my simply being there---never mind how many enemies I killing all along the way---saves him from multiple kicks to orbit. Do we swallow our frustration at the wipe, and start the Nightfall over again as a pair? NOPE....shithead leaves the fireteam and storms off in a huff. I was so mad, I just sat there stunned for a few minutes. Just refusing to believe what I'd just witnessed. Anyway...there is justice in this. I has the last part of the Pocket Infinity bounty do (200 FR kills in the Nightfall)...so I decide to do that instead. After a couple of false starts, I make it all the way to the boss battle SOLO using only Plan C...and then decide to play it straight the rest of the way. Wind up soloing it after only two very early wipes......and get Truth AND Pocket Infinity for my trouble. :) But the issue isn't level cap. The issue is that some people just have no clue how to treat other people.
