I really want to take it apart but I still want to use it. People keep saying the touch screen won't work if I take off the top screen, but the people I asked don't know much about them. So would I be able to take it off and still be able to use it? Or -blam!- it, just do it anyway. Or maybe impregnate it...
-
Um.....nooooo.
-
It will still work, but it won't respond to touch because you took the touchscreen off. Also the screen's glued to the digitiser, so good luck getting it off.
-
Way worse. It's crapped now.
-
Dude.. you can get a replacement screen for ~$15 on Amazon. Took about 30min and a youtube video to install.
-
Too much skin, plz censor.

Edited by coolmike699: 3/20/2015 12:59:56 AMI bought a new screen for and changed the screen of my old iPod Touch. It still works. It doesn't work well, but it works.

Edited by Cultmeister: 3/20/2015 12:29:49 AMYou know that's probably illegal considering the sorts of things Apple probably puts in their Ts&Cs.
-
Impregnate it. Id pay to see that

No, it like cutting off the string that holds up the head of a marionette, it'll die.
HighlyObscureReferenceThatNobodyWillGetForFiveHundredDollarsPleaseAlex.
Just throw it away.
-
Google could probably provide you with an answer.
-
No it won't. I did the same thing to my old one.
-
Try turning it off then on
