THE ONLY WAY TO 34 SHOULD BE IRON BANANA
As a certified crucible legend (top 1% for crucible deaths, top 1% for orb collection, bottom 3% for ktd), and expert PvE player (2 check em 2 raid completions) who was the world's first to solo the crota chest in the abyss using only dancing to traverse the map, I have this great concept.
The reality is PvE is easy mode for scrubs. Giving out light 42 gear for walking through easy content vs the hard slog of earning it in the Iron Banner is a slap in the face. Anyone can die at the lanterns and get 36 light gear when a hunter invisibility cheeses the section solo. Only the supreme can grind the Iron Banner to level 34.
UPDATE: hahahahahahaha the Scrub zone of Eldars is an even bigger joke. Hur hur hur a 30 second gjally blast to level 35 completion. Please. And the Trials is Scrubsiris.....where 1 good player carries 2 scrubs to the lighthouse week in week out is hardly worthy of max level. These activities should be deleted from the game!!!!
I think raid, PoE and Trials gear should be reduced to Blue gear to represent the lack of skill required to get it.

Just get rid of pve and lessen to PvP cry babys,lol if you all had your way it be cod,it's not our fault that bungie can't make good raids and the only thing there interested in is a 10min match that repeats over and over and over again,there no skill in getting ib gear,especially when your rewarded for loosing lol

I walked into the tower today and bought a pair of boots and 3 Jolder's hammers, took me 5 minutes, and I never needed to fire a bullet. So ... I'd say even cheesing is more difficult than arriving in the tower at the correct time.

I suck at PvP and got legs and gloves last month. Your options suck. The best answer is that anyone can grind out +36 light armor. Iron Banner is one way. Raids are another. I just think the helmet should be available.
