Rate my Timur's Lash and Felwinter's Lie!
Hello all,
Recently got on to go reroll my Timur's Lash after waiting a month because I ran out of motes and got crappy perks. Decided to roll my Felwinter's Lie for shotpackage too. Well, my results are on my Warlock. I'm really happy with the shotgun, but I need opinions on the Timur's lash. Is it worth upgrading or should I reroll? It means a lot if I could have some replies as to whether or not and reroll and what to look for if I do.

Edit 1: So, the feedback has been great. I have been told a lot to reroll for fieldscout/outlaw, but the votes seem to be 50/50. So my only problem with the Lash is crowd control. Is it really worth it or are there better perks? If so what?

2 RepliesEdited by AllWedge: 3/18/2015 1:05:28 AMI think it's a solid roll on timurs. I wouldn't change it. Never found a reason for field scout with outlaw/spray & play. Primary ammo is always available and the thing kicks (& hits) like a horse so I prefer perfect balance with a quick reload.

I think they are both fine. On the lash all I would want that you don't have is Fieldscout (I have the same single perks as you on one of mine). The crowd control is a BEAST in PVE. The Lie is fine as is. Hammer Forged + Shot package is pretty amazing.

Its a tough call. Mine has spray and play and feeding frenzy, which stacks, meaning reload speed is outrageous! Also have explosive rounds or high calibre to switch between. To me either of those two perks is better than outlaw, means you don't always need a precision kill.

For lie, shot package and full auto would be best. Not to bad, but i could care less about the slide further. As long as it has hammer forge, shot package it's fine. Mine has shot package, and return ammo to mag with a kill i love it, oh and it has hammer forge too.

9 RepliesNo a bad roll on Timur. Reload is clutch. Pair that with hand cannon reload speed gloves and you're golden. Stability/explosive rounds are also two good options. Crowd control is I think +15% dam for 3 sec per kill. So if you put down multiple people in a row it is good. I have several. My new favorite I'm messing with is rangefinder/third eye! I also have one that has feeding frenzy, outlaw, and flared mag well. FASTEST. RELOAD. EVER. Things to look for if retooling, depending on how many motes you want to spend... Luck in the chamber, field scout, explosive rounds... If you got luck AND crowd control, if that's even possible, you got a keeper.

I have two timurs lash with different perks. One has spray and play, field scout and third eye. The other has spray and play, hammer forged and luck in the chamber. You got decent perks, but there are better ones.
