Hi there guardians, I'm here to ask you all if you think a dedicated theater mode would be an excellent addition to Destiny. For those of you who have played Halo, think of the feature as the reincarnation of Halo's theater mode. For those who haven't, think of it as in in-game feature where you could access past games you played and pan around with a camera separate from your character (unlike the screenshot feature on ps4--not sure how xbox one works in this regard) and take pictures and video clips.
For some context, Halo's theater mode resulted in a vibrant community of screenshot artists who used the feature to make some very creative in-game content. My own group, Mythic Photographers, for example produced a stunning amount of creative pictures. This feature also helped allow Bungie to host Bungie Favorites--a spotlight that allowed people with persistence to get their content shared with the broader community--as well as screenshot contests and the proliferation of funny film clips.
One might ask how this would apply to Destiny. I personally see huge potential for a dedicated theater mode in Destiny. Ever encounter difficulty finding a good raid tutorial that showed you what each member was doing, rather than just from one raid member's perspective? A dedicated theater mode would fix that by allowing users to pan separately from any character, enabling them to capture the entire process of a boss battle, rather than one limited perspective. I can guarantee you that a vibrant community would sprout up around artistic in-game photography as it did in Halo, making the Destiny community a bit more palatable. Overall, this sort of a feature would allow players to share their experiences in the game as well as shape those experiences.
To me it's a no brainer, but I'd be curious to hear what you all have to say about this. If there turns out to be significant support for this feature, I would hope that Bungie sees this and listens to its community.

Doesn't really float my boat but I bet some other people could so some really cool stuff with it.
