But one claims the Earth is flat, one claims its an oblate spheroid, one claims the Sun sets in a puddle, the other suggests the Earth rotates so a side faces away. Sure they share some things but just because parts of it can be true doesn't make the whole, the truth.

True that why I choose what I think is true and what is not. No matter what we pick the answer will aways be other question. Even if we reach perfection on anything the error would away be there to question that perfection. The highest we can ever achieve is 99.99% but that 0.01% will away be left out and will cause us to question what is left out; was anything wrong at any point. Soon perfection falls just like everything else does. All thing are created and born to later die or be destroyed. Every truth has a lie and every lie has a truth. All answer are wrong in some way and all problem that are wrong has a answer somewhere. Eather way what is currently separated was once all together.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, I don't agree that choosing what you think is true or not is a rational way to go about. Thats my 2 cents, I liked what you said about truth and lies though.
