Thorn needs a nerf, now!
In PvP there are always going to be over-used weapons but it is pretty clear to see that the "thorn" and "the last word" and not just over-used they are too strong mainly "thorn". And as iron banner is currently the limited event there are a lot of people using weapons like "thorn and "the last word".
my main issue with the "thorn" would either be its range or the strength of the "Mark of the Devourer" upgrade for the weapon, on average a fully upgraded "thorn" can kill you in 3 rounds at scout rifle distance and because of the poison effect even if you do survive 2 or 3 shots you are guaranteed to die.
"The Last Word" my not need to be de-buffed it might just be my opinion but it feels like everytime I come up against someone with "the last word" they are able to shot 5 rounds and kill me before I am even able to aim in, or able to shoot. So yeah that's what I think.
Thanks Bungie if you read this and others can post your opinions I want to see what you also think.

2 RepliesImo there doesn't need to be any more nerfs period. There needs to be buffs on certain weapons like auto rifles for an example. I am currently working on my Thorn bounty and doing the void crucible kills. The only void primary I have is Atheon's Epilogue. Here is what happened over and over yesterday, a guardian would be running towards me and I would be unloading on them with the epilogue and hitting crits the majority of the time. Would not even slow the other guardian down and they would one shot me with a shotgun when they got close enough. The auto rifles have been completely ruined by these nerfs.

15 RepliesYes. Nerf. Atleast lessen the Mark effect... Its too OP. I recently had to kill tons of guardians in crucible for the Bad Juju and the whole time I was getting shut down by thorns and last words.

Okay so I think thorn isn't to op it's a two headshot kill with poison the hawkmoon has the potential of one shot personally I use the red death as a counter in iron banner as it stops the poison and is a two burst kill
